Meet Nihilist, an alternative muscian from Lincoln

As always I have a new podcast episode which you can listen to here to find out more about this mysterious artist.

A new take on music, with his own take on old instruments. From recording dushwashers to making sound with spring this music is nothing like what we have previouly heard.

Whilst I found the songs quite peaceful to listen to, finding comfort in the fact it sounded like absence Nihilist said “it’s meant to sound distrubing but people can find their own meaning from it”

With more music to be released July 20th give it a listen to see what meaning you find.

Meet Vigilantes an Indie/Rock band from Lincolnshire

After being placed on Radio 1’s best of BBC introducing playlist and sharing stages with Circa Waves, The Sherlock’s and Fickle Friends it’s no wonder that tickets to Vigilantes upcoming live performances are selling fast.

Vigilantes

After a year of being locked in, escaping only through  a solid Spotify playlist  or  flicking through your dad’s old vinyl collection restrictions are finally starting to ease, venues are reopening and on Friday the first of October Vigilantes, supported by Who’s Misty? + Sukko. are playing at the Liquor venue in Lincoln.

Influenced by bands  such as The Police, The Pylons and Radiohead it’s no surprise Vigilantes are so popular,  using what we are familiar with and making it their own.

I spoke to Vigilantes about band dynamics, their writing process and their journey within the music industry which you can listen to on my podcast.
